With another year underway, it’s been a great start to the year for the BOQ Specialist business. As I reflect back to 2023, it was a busy year so, I hope you had the opportunity to spend time over the December and January period with family and friends, and take a break.

I am delighted to announce this is not only our 25^th edition, but our first fully digital Best Practice magazine! Over the last few years, we have received feedback from you as our community, on what you want from us. The most consistent feedback was to go paperless. The changing way of working since COVID-19, has also supported this decision – so now you can read each edition anywhere, anytime!

In this edition, you’ll find stories from practice owners, young doctors, and trailblazers across the medical, dental, and veterinary fields. Including a story of six doctors and specialists who teamed up to build a one-stop shop for medical care in one of Queensland’s new satellite cities, Yarrabilba.

This story is a true example of industry professionals identifying a need for their patients and the wider community and stopping at nothing to bridge that gap. It’s a privilege for BOQ Specialist to be able to help realise this vision, supporting them every step of the way.

We have a busy year ahead, with a wide spectrum of industry events we'll be supporting, and I’m excited about the opportunities that await us in 2024.

Whilst the last few years have presented extraordinary and challenging circumstances, it’s our towering resilience as the BOQ Specialist community that I’m thankful for. We are proud of the services we provide, especially to our medical, dental, and veterinary professionals. We truly understand this space, and our team of financial specialists are dedicated to helping support our clients to achieve their personal and practice finance goals. Most importantly, I wish to thank you for the huge sacrifices you make day in, day out, and your dedication in keeping our community safe.
